Is Jobsmartic really free for job seekers?+
Yes โ€” 100% free to register, create a profile, and apply to unlimited jobs. We also offer a Pro Seeker plan for KES 499/mo that boosts your visibility in employer searches, but it's completely optional.
How does email verification work?+
After registering, you'll receive an email from admin@jobsmartic.co.ke with a verification link. Click it to activate your account. Links expire in 48 hours โ€” you can request a new one from the login page.
Can I sign in with my email address?+
Yes. You can sign in using either your username or your email address โ€” whichever you prefer.
How does the matching algorithm work?+
When a job is posted, we instantly score all "Available" seekers based on: skills match (weighted by rarity), location distance, experience level, availability status, and profile rating. Top matches receive push notifications within seconds.
How does M-Pesa payment work?+
For platform fees, we use M-Pesa STK Push โ€” you'll get a payment prompt on your registered phone. For gig escrow, funds are locked by Jobsmartic before work begins and released to the seeker's M-Pesa upon confirmed completion.
What if I forget my password?+
Go to the Sign In page and click "Forgot password?" โ€” enter your email or username and we'll send a reset link within 60 seconds from admin@jobsmartic.co.ke. Links are valid for 24 hours.
